Many people assume that Delcorf and Delbarestival are the same variety, when in fact Delbarestival is a more colourful mutation with a different flavour and maturity date. The Delcorf reaches ripeness between September 5 and 10. It produces a large fruit, and its remarkable flavour makes it a benchmark among apples. Red streaks cover 40% of its surface on a greenish-yellow background. Its shelf life is rather short: approximately four weeks in cold storage.
